The Rockfeller Center is one of the most incredible
impressive American architectural achievements.
For the first time, a group of skycrapers covering more
than one blockwere all built together, at the same time..
The Rockfeller was built from 1932 to 1940. The project
was conceived by the oil magnate John D. Rockfeller, on a
12 acre site leased from Columbia University.
Seven more buildings were added between 1947 and 1973.
The Rockeffeler Center was designed by a team of seven
archictects, including Raymond Hood.
Today the Center houses 21 buildings on a 22acres sites
related eachother through a network of galleries. It is
home to "The Today Show," Radio City Music Hall
and New York's famous chritsmas tree during the festive
season.

Building which is the main building of the Rockfeller
Center houses the NBC Studios ( National
Broadcasting Corporation ).

In the entrance of the building you can see the murals
by Jose Maria Sert "American's progress".
At the 65th Floor is the Rainbow Room, a famous ballroom
and restaurant from where you will have an excellent
view.

City Music Hall used to be one of the most prestigious
music hall in New York. At the beginning many variety
shows were presented and very soon movie premieres.
